credit is a very strange word.
Thereason that I think is that it has various opposite meaning.
When you have a bank book, it has 3 parts.
1. debt
2. deposit
3. balance
on credit -> debt
in credit -> deposit
credit -> balance
Three things are very different, but it can almost replace them entirely.
